Wage and Benefit Study RFP

The Town of Cave Creek issues this Request for Proposals for a consultant with experience in the design of compensation and benefit plans for public entities. The successful bidder will provide advisory services to perform a comprehensive study of the Town’s current wages and benefits and recommend changes the will insure that the Town will be able to attract, retain, and motivate its employees while meeting the need for the Town to be accountable and efficient in its expenditures of public funds.


The number of employees anticipated to be covered by the study will be between 42-47.   The Town will make available complete job descriptions for those positions as well as some contemplated job descriptions, proposed deviations for pay based on license or skill to consider within an existing or contemplated position, or partial job descriptions for contemplated positions.  Currently there is no definite number of the contemplated variations/new positions, but there could be as many as 30 of these in addition to the 42-47 previously identified as participating employees.  These contemplated variations, will in part, be dependent on advice from the consultant (see Section II number 4).
